Waverley Woodworkers Inc - Mission and Club Overview

EntranceWaverley Woodworkers Inc (WWInc) was established in 1990 as a centre for all those who, not only have an interest in some aspect of woodworking as a hobby, but also wish to belong to a community of fellow enthusiasts.

  • We are a Community Club
  • Located just across from the Jordanville Railway Station
  • We have a very active club with a core of approximately 100 active members.
  • Our members regularly win prizes at various exhibitions and competitions.
  • We are open 7 days a week
  • We have a full range of equipment
  • It is a safe place where local community can gather and create woodcraft items.
  • We provide a supportive environment where members can work and exchange skills.
  • You can participate in and contribute to community events.
  • Or undertake projects of benefit to the community.

End of year closing dates

The club will be closing at 11:30 am on December 5th for the Christmas Picnic

The Club will close for the Christmas/New year period

The last day that the club will be open for general Woodwork is Saturday 19th December 2015

The first Day that the club will be open for general woodwork in the new year is Sunday 10th January 2016

There will be no opportunity for general woodwork of any kind during the Christmas/New year period as there will be works being undertaken at the workshop to make improvements and install the new dust extraction system.
